Overview

It is the primary responsibility of the Assistant Restaurant Manager – Starbucks @ TI to assist in the management of the restaurant operation. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.

Specific Job Functions:

• Complete paperwork, daily reports and all other necessary financial analysis for the restaurant
• Order products and supplies for the restaurant
• Conduct daily pre-shift meetings and regular staff training meetings
• Manage and lead staff including hiring, scheduling, employee counseling and commendations
• Train all employees on steps of service, sequence of service and hold them accountable to the standards
• Ensure daily operational tasks are performed & completed
• Ensure all equipment is in working order
• Ensure all areas of the establishment are constantly maintained for cleanliness
• Practice all necessary sanitation methods to ensure all food safety standards are followed
• Communicate via e-mail in a professional manner and follow all computer use guidelines
• Ensure necessary tools are provided to staff
• Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained and control budgeted labor costs
• Ensure all departmental & company policies are followed
• Assist Manager in achieving all service, financial and human resource goals set forth by the property executives
• Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department

Responsibilities/Qualifications

• Two years prior high-volume, Assistant Manager or Supervisory restaurant experience required.
• Communicate effectively in English both verbally and written forms
• Must possess basic computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and Access
• College degree preferred
