Position : Technical Support Specialist

Location : Lawrenceville, GA

Job Description :

An esteemed healthcare institution in Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide hardware and software support to end-users throughout the organization.

As a valued member of our team, you will participate in various projects as directed by leadership, ensuring the seamless operation of our technological infrastructure.

This role involves maintaining inventory processes, adhering to organizational protocols, and delivering educational support to end-users.

Additionally, you will offer on-site and remote assistance to users across our locations in Georgia.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide technical support for hardware and software applications to end-users across the organization.
  • Participate in project needs as directed by leadership.
  • Maintain and comply with inventory processes for Microsystems hardware used within the organization and other facilities.
  • Utilize supported protocols for building and maintaining hardware within the organizational infrastructure.
  • Provide on-site and remote support as needed to users across various locations within Georgia.
  • Assist in departmental physical moves, additions, and changes related to project needs of computer systems and devices within the organization and its remote locations.
  • Research and resolve problems and questions regarding computer systems and software.
  • Adhere to all Microsystems-related policies and procedures and ensure compliance by end-users.
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports for departmental and related functions, routinely test systems, and provide documentation for knowledge base and management education requests.
  • Practice proper safety techniques in accordance with organizational policies and procedures. Immediately report any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee / patient / visitor injury-accidents to the manager.

Requirements :

  • Two (2) years demonstrated work experience supporting personal computers and technology.
  • One (1) year of professional work experience supporting personal computer software and building computer hardware for enterprise.
  • Experience with standard operating systems and desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Professional).
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent communications and customer service skills.
