Job Overview: As the Controller, you will be responsible for developing, leading, and managing the accounting function, to include facilitating month-end close and reporting financials. This role will have an opportunity to assist in improving processes, impacting financial decisions, and be part of our Leadership Team. The Controller will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer/Integrator.

Role & Responsibilities: As Controller, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Process the closing of monthly financial statements and reports.

• Project, monitor and manage company cash flow.

• Ensure tax compliance.

• Prepare annual budgets and schedules.

• Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting

• Prepare 12-month rolling forecast, forecast our 3-Year Plan by quarter, and own the annual budgeting process.

• Plan, assign and direct work for direct reports.

• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.

• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior management.

• Manage the accounts payable process and ensure timely payment of invoices.

• Supervise corporate accounting functions, including general ledger accounting and reconciliations.

• Develop financial standards.

Must Haves for this Role:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (master’s degree preferred, but not required)

• CPA certification strongly preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably a small business setting

• Experience working with multiple entities a plus.

• Leadership experience with leading special projects

• Strong financial acumen

• Experience with regulatory reporting and compliance requirements.

• Proficiency in creating budgets and financial analysis techniques.

• Expert-level at managing processes, developing budgets and tracking budget expense.

• Experience in analyzing and interpreting data to provide solutions.

• Knowledgeable in financial software

• Extremely well organized and able to work in a fluid, time sensitive environment.

• Able to work, communicate, and interact with others in accordance with company values, environment, collaborative relationships, leadership and service.

• Adept in problem-solving skills, can determine root causes of issues while also creating proactive solutions for future issues.
