At TransformCare, we believe that our employees are our greatest strength. We are looking for a Senior Consultant-Change Management Specialist to support the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) by providing change management expertise on various projects and initiatives. The VHA continuously strives to provide the best care to our Veterans which often results in organizational change. This position provides the opportunity to help the VHA ensure that changes are implemented with minimal disruption and maximum success. Our VHA customer's current focus is ensuring the implementation and sustainment of high reliability principles across several Veterans Affairs Medical Centers (VAMC). This role will bring change management expertise to this effort.

The Prosci-certified Senior Consultant-Change Management Specialist position is for an ambitious, hands-on team player who welcomes challenges, works well in a dynamic environment, and is committed to the highest standards of professional excellence. This position is also expected to manage and mentor junior subordinates and support corporate needs as requested and as time permits.


Client Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent communication skills and participate as a key, collaborative member of a larger client team
  • Perform various data analyses, resulting in a record of key observations and recommendations
  • Possess the ability and experience in applying critical thinking to provide recommendations to solve complex problems in ambiguous environments or while navigating ambiguous environments/situations/events
  • Complete complex tasks and client-ready products with minimal guidance
  • Consolidate input from multiple parties into clear and concise documents
  • Lead the development of work products and deliverables
  • Focus on the stakeholder communications and adoption component of change and transition, using Prosci Change Management methodology
  • Develop change management-related strategies and documentation to support our clients portfolio of projects.
  • Provide comprehensive change management leadership by collaborating with stakeholders, technology support, and senior management to ensure projects achieve the defined business requirements and stakeholder expectations


Corporate Responsibilities

As a member of TransformCare’s team, Senior Consultants have the following additional responsibilities:

  • Maintain compliance with corporate policies
  • Maintain expected utilization
  • Provide performance evaluation feedback to contract team leadership for junior staff
  • Actively participate in business development with a focus on supporting proposal efforts

Utilization Expectations

Utilization is the percentage of an employee’s time expected to be dedicated to client-billable work. Utilization is expected to be at 100% for the Senior Consultant level.

Requirements:
  • Ability to travel 4-6 times per year to various VHA locations (3-4 days per trip)
  • Ability to attend onsite VHA meetings in DC up to 3 days per month
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or related field
  • Work schedule: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm ET, Monday through Friday
  • Minimum six years of working experience
  • Prosci Change Management Certification
  • Willing to provide work samples (required by client) for interview process
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
  • US citizenship; eligibility for public trust clearance
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills
  • Skilled insights into patient safety, healthcare quality, and healthcare performance
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing tasks
  • Demonstrated writing skills and ability to summarize detailed findings into executive-level findings
  • Experience working with VHA desired
