    POSITION SUMMARY:
    Support the communication needs of the District’s Recovery Program.
    COVID-19 vaccinations are required for all faculty and staff at Township High School District 113. As a result, the Board of Education voted to pass a resolution requiring all District 113 employees to get a booster to the COVID-19 vaccination. All District 113 employees must provide proof; however, employees may request a medical or religious exemption through Human Resources.
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    The primary responsibilities will be to support the recovery and healing efforts in response to the July 4 shooting.
    These responsibilities are ranked by priority below:
    • Develops, implements, documents and maintains communications and marketing materials, including social media, videography, photography, scripts, press releases, etc.
    • Designs, prepares and distributes materials to support consistent, cohesive messaging that enhances awareness through print materials, digital, video and photography
    • Creates graphics for dissemination
    • Maintains calendar and content for posting/sharing on social media
    • Helps maintain and update website
    • Ensures that consistent practices are used throughout the district to maintain integrity of messages and branding
    • Other duties as assigned.
    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
    • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Able to work quickly and precisely with minimal supervision
    • Able to shift priorities in a fast-paced work environment
    • Demonstrates strong command of written and spoken language
    • Demonstrates strong interpersonal/people skills, empathy, cultural awareness, and a willingness to help others
    • Meets deadlines
    • Highly ethical and able to maintain confidentiality
    • Must have the ability to travel to/from various locations in the district each day as needed
    • Must project a positive image of the district to staff, students, parents, and the public
    • Must have strong graphics, video, photography technical skills and expertise, including but not limited to Adobe suite (InDesign, Photoshop), Google Suite, Microsoft Office suite, social media management tools and analytics, such as Sprout Social, Meta for Business, public platforms as Niche and Nextdoor, content management systems, Google Analytics
