Responsibilities:

• Audit, post, balance daily cashier’s work for outlets including, but not limited to outlets in rooms and Food & Beverages
• Ensure credit card system reconciles to daily transactions list
• Maintain house bank and handle all checks and cash according to the hotel’s policies and procedure
• Communicate all pertinent information to Managers and Supervisors
• Follow set procedure on posting, charges, cashing checks, safe deposits, and refunds
• Solicit guest feedback via guest comment cards
• Answer the telephone in a professional manner and assist guest with any questions, directions to the property etc.
• Interact with team in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information

Requirements

• At least 1-year Night Auditor experience is preferred
• Hours include overnight shifts, weekends, and Holidays
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing; exceptional computer and numeracy skills
• Must be a team player, must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-worker with their job duties
• Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information and resolve conflicts
• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
