A Day In The Life:
As the MRO Lead Technician, you'll be instrumental in investigating, repairing, and controlling aerospace mechatronic parts, adhering to manufacturer specifications. Reporting to the Finance Controller and the Head of the MRO, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our repair services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and preventive maintenance on aircraft parts.
- Inspect potential failures on mechatronic parts using test benches and maintenance manuals.
- Create repair scopes and develop customer quotes.
- Repair and inspect parts as per maintenance manual guidelines.
- Document maintenance and inspection processes.
- Supervise maintenance shop personnel.
- Manage priorities and respect cycle times.
Requirements:
- License/Certification: Supervisor (as per CFR 145.153).
- Experience: Minimum of 18 months repairing aerospace-type electromechanical or mechatronic components.
- Skills: Proficient in electronic and mechanical systems, ability to work independently, adherence to industry standards and federal regulations, and strong communication skills.
- Software Skills: ERP JD Edwards, Excel proficiency.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
