Qualifications

Job Overview:

As a Lead Signs & Markings Technician, you'll be responsible for leading a team in designing, fabricating, installing, and maintaining a variety of signs and markings. You'll work on projects ranging from public roads to airfields, ensuring compliance with FAA, TX-DOT, MUTCD, FHWA, and Airport Board criteria. Your work will also include designing, fabricating, and installing complex vehicle graphics.

What you will be doing:

• Lead a team of Signs & Markings Technicians
• Design, fabricate, and install signs and markings.
• Operate specialized graphics computers and equipment.
• Utilizes screen printing and lamination processes.
• Operate truck-mounted stripers and pavement preparation equipment.
• Act as a project leader, coordinating efforts and completing tasks.

What you need:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of experience in sign fabrication and pavement marking
• 1 year of experience leading or supervising others
• Valid class B commercial driver's license or ability to obtain on.

What we desire:

• Knowledge of modern sign fabrication techniques and equipment
• Ability to lay out and install various pavement markings.
• Knowledge of Federal and State regulations for signing and marking
• Ability to work safely in hazardous environments.
