Who we are looking for:
TORQ Distribution is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, team-oriented & focusedAccounting Coordinator, looking to join anupbeat office culture & high performing team. This individual should be capable of building strong relationships with the outside sales team and have a clear passion to be a part of a winning team through serving & growing. This position will assist & serve a sales team of 35 team members in 3 states and work closely with the Director of Sales. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing sales team & an organization that promotes within, in several rapidly expanding markets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist Finance department with administrative and clerical duties, heavy emphasis on data entry and auditing. Reconciliations and audits, include but are not limited to, employee expenses and customer incentive tracking. Answer phones and route calls to correct sales territory per customer’s request, as well as assist in customer inquiries of orders/invoices/payments. Handle customer emails and maintain accurate information in databases. Help with accounts payable and accounts receivable duties when required as facilitated by the Financial Controller and Director of Finance. Other special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
o Associate degree in accounting or finance and/or 1-3 year(s) work-related experience in an office environment. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
o Understanding of basic accounting and/or financial principles, experience with GAAP a plus.
o Advanced math skills and ability to identify numerical errors.
o Possess strong computer literacy, detail oriented, and excellent customer service work ethic.
o Know how to prioritize and stay organized.
o Ambitious, excited to learn and collaborate with a team.
