Lawrence Group’s St. Louis office is seeking a Project Accountant. This role will collaborate with project teams to provide a wide range of project-related services. This role requires a high level of initiative, multi-tasking and problem-solving along with an eagerness to learn processes and documentation specific to the design industry.
Position responsibilities:

• Work closely with Architectural Project Managers to ensure accurate and timely project budgeting and appropriate job costing
• Manage consultant invoice review and approval process through data entry, billing, and payment.
• Ensure project reports are accurate, clear, and updated prior to providing reports to Project Managers monthly
• Perform in-depth investigations of project expenses that may have overlooked client billings
• Respond to Project Manager requests with project details as needed
• Manage project accounting processes: Setup in Deltek Ajera, editing projects, updating project schedules, archiving completed projects,
• Create RFPs for consultants as needed
• Monitor Accounts Receivable - follow up with clients about late payments, coordinate with accounting and project teams, if requested
• Develop and facilitate internal staff training on project controls / project administration best practices
