Starting Rate: $21.00/hr
*Rates of pay are determined by previous experience and labor contract seniority*
The Customer Service Manager will oversee the operation of the Front End. Major areas of responsibility include:
- Oversees Front End cashiers (hiring, scheduling, training)
- Cultivates and maintains customer service and customer relations at the front-end, attention to associate appearance and behavior, as well as maintaining acceptable service levels
- Controls store shrink by monitoring cashier product handling as well as cashier ringing/scanning techniques
- Maintains a friendly, professional and well organized image in all areas of the front-end department including but not limited to the parking lot, vestibule, checkouts etc.
- Responsible for all training, monitoring and compliance of regulatory and legal aspects such as alcohol and tobacco, food stamps and WIC
- Ensures a clean and safe environment for associates and customers by enforcing proper safety, sanitation, and operations policies
Successful candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Previous retail customer service experience preferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and prioritization skills
