TopS is Hiring a Customer Service Manager Near Ithaca, NY

Starting Rate: $21.00/hr

*Rates of pay are determined by previous experience and labor contract seniority*

The Customer Service Manager will oversee the operation of the Front End. Major areas of responsibility include:

  • Oversees Front End cashiers (hiring, scheduling, training)
  • Cultivates and maintains customer service and customer relations at the front-end, attention to associate appearance and behavior, as well as maintaining acceptable service levels
  • Controls store shrink by monitoring cashier product handling as well as cashier ringing/scanning techniques
  • Maintains a friendly, professional and well organized image in all areas of the front-end department including but not limited to the parking lot, vestibule, checkouts etc.
  • Responsible for all training, monitoring and compliance of regulatory and legal aspects such as alcohol and tobacco, food stamps and WIC
  • Ensures a clean and safe environment for associates and customers by enforcing proper safety, sanitation, and operations policies
Requirements:

Successful candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Previous retail customer service experience preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and prioritization skills
