We're thankful to be moving into a new location that provides us with extra room. Over the years we've had a number of people ask about volunteering with our company to gain experience that they otherwise may not be able to get. Up until recently, it was a little tough to be able to offer that when we were at our old office. Now that we have some extra space, we're able to offer volunteer opportunities to a limited number of people at a time. If you want to be an administrative assistant, we don't require much besides being organized and conducting yourself in a professional manner. If you want to volunteer to gain experience in a technical aspect, we do require that people have at least 1 year of experience in a business or classroom setting that is focused on technology. The intention of the volunteer opportunity is not to teach people from the ground up but instead take in people who have some solid knowledge but they just want to get their foot in the door somewhere to either lead to a paid position or maybe just to get some highly valuable resume material.
