TOM BIHN is a baggage designer, manufacturer, and direct-to-consumer brand based in Seattle, WA. Founded in 1972, we make bags for everyday carry, work, travel, day hiking, and more. We focus on using the highest quality fabrics to make thoughtful, timeless designs.

Our entire crew of around 70 — from our design team to our production, operations, and customer service staff — works out of our Seattle factory! We are looking for a talented, passionate individual with genuine interest in the TOM BIHN brand. We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience and be able to perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports. Additional responsibility will include providing administrative support as needed. The candidate should have strong attention to detail and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure precise and current financial record-keeping through Netsuite platform
• Harmonize bank and credit card statements through reconciliation
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks efficiently
• Generate essential financial reports and other necessary documents
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Oversee daily input and balance of TOM BIHN sales and return transactions
• Efficiently manage Work Order processing within Netsuite
• Monitor labor timing and workflow progression accurately
• Execute additional bookkeeping responsibilities, including general ledger adjustments and returns processing, as designated
• Fulfill assigned administrative duties effectively

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and procedures
• Proficiency in Netsuite or other accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Flexible with revolving responsibilities

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
