• Structuring IT portfolio management processes and partnering with Product Management on requirements management process or system to keep track of new, urgent, critical, and innovative services for the portfolio.
• Using metrics and data visualization effectively to report portfolio performance and support decision-making at the team or organizational level.
• Working with IT leaders, technology vendors and service providers to ensure that the organization's technology needs are met.
• Evaluating and implementing new technologies and systems that improve IT operations and support the organization's business goals.
• Directing a team of IT professionals and providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their goals and objectives.
• Maintaining a strong understanding of the organization's business needs and working closely with other Product Management / IT departments to ensure that IT is aligned with those needs.
• Supporting IT leaders in budget management and ensuring expenses are in line with the organization's financial goals.
• Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends and developments in IT operations management.
• Coordinating the establishment of common practices, tools, and templates for portfolio and project management
• Establishing a stakeholder reporting process and cadence; aligning with Product Management on the stakeholder audience
• Monitoring and optimizing existing IT Project Portfolio. Ensure that services are meeting business expectations.
• Monitoring, managing, and maintaining the annual "portfolio pipeline of demand, resources, projects and enhancements to ensure effective tracking and delivery within all financial measures and portfolio constraints."
• Developing and maintaining a portfolio resource plan to monitor resource capacity and utilization.
• Leading Vendor management office and engaging with service providers.
• Collaborating with IT Managers/Business Owners to prepare business-case justifications and cost-benefit analyses for new initiatives.
• Updating and coordinating with the IT leadership on service portfolio planning, status, performance, prioritization, funding, and approval.

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, IT or relevant field.
• Proven experience (5-7 Years) as Portfolio Manager, or Strategy & Planning Manager.
• Thorough knowledge of project / portfolio management tools along with related implementation.
• Strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team of IT professionals and drive performance.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members, senior management, and other stakeholders.
• Technical proficiency and knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and systems to effectively manage and troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to manage portfolio of projects.
• Problem-solving aptitude.
• Experience with organizational finance and operations.
• Self-motivated and ability to take on additional responsibilities over time to contribute to the broader success of the organization.
