Together Again Travel & Events is Hiring a Remote Group Travel Sales Specialist

We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual interested in a business opportunity to become a Group Travel Sales Specialist. As a remote Group Travel Sales Specialist, you are responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating group travel arrangements for corporate clients, organizations, or larger groups of individuals. You will work closely with clients to understand their travel needs and preferences, and then use your training to design tailored travel itineraries and packages that fulfill those requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Understanding Client Needs: Collaborating with clients to identify their specific travel objectives, constraints, and preferences, such as budget, destinations, activities, and any special requirements.

2. Developing Customized Travel Packages: Creating personalized travel itineraries that align with the client's objectives, taking into consideration factors like accommodation, transportation, activities, meals, and any necessary travel documentation.

3. Negotiating with Suppliers: Building relationships with airlines, hotels, transport companies, and other travel service providers to secure the best possible rates and exclusive offerings for group travelers.

4. Sales and Marketing: Promoting group travel packages through various channels, such as cold calling, email marketing, and attending trade shows, to generate new leads and increase sales volume.

5. Client Coordination: Ensuring seamless communication and coordination with clients throughout the travel booking process, from initial inquiry to post-trip feedback, addressing any concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.

6. Managing Reservations: Making and managing reservations for group travelers, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities, while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

7. Problem-solving and Crisis Management: Handling any unexpected issues or emergencies during group travel, effectively resolving problems to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for clients.

8. Continuous Learning: Staying updated with industry trends, emerging destinations, travel regulations, and technological advancements to provide clients with the latest and most efficient solutions.

9. Reporting and Record-keeping: Maintaining accurate records, documenting client interactions, travel bookings, and financial transactions, and preparing regular reports for management.

Requirements:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact confidently with clients and travel suppliers.

- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate and error-free travel arrangements.
