TLC Family Care is Hiring a Child Care Worker Near Jacksonville, FL

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive pay of $17-$19 per hour gross before taxes.
  • Occasional bonuses and travel incentives.
  • Weekly Pay - Direct deposit as an employee of TLC.
  • Overtime - Time and a half pay for weekly hours exceeding 40.
  • Holiday Pay for most nationally observed holidays.

Schedule:

  • Have at least 2 to 5 full weekdays of availability. (Monday through Friday)
  • Most shifts are between 7/8am to 5/6 pm.

Shift Examples: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm // 7:00 am to 5:00 pm // 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be willing to work with both children and adult
  • Must be a great communicator: You need to be comfortable texting to keep us in the loop regarding your availability and any issues that arise. Your proactive approach to communication ensures a smooth and effective work dynamic.
  • MUST have at least 1 year of babysitting, nannying, or adult care experience and provide us with 2 childcare references outside your family to whom we can speak.
  • Must have a valid driver's license & a vehicle to get to your shifts.
  • Must be able to commit a minimum of 3 months to this program.

If Hired:

  • Must be able to provide legal work status in the US.
  • Must have or get Child, Infant & Adult CPR and First Aid certification BEFORE employment.
  • Will complete an online orientation to help you be the best nanny you can be.

How it works:

  • Step 1: Create your schedule: You have the freedom to establish your work availability through our TLC Calendar.
  • Step 2: Get matched with families:TLC assigns shifts according to availability, experience, and preferences of you and the family.
  • Step 3: Work your shift: Shifts vary in length, start time, and end time. They may be shorter or longer depending on many factors. If a shift is shorter than 4 hours, you will be paid for 4 hours.
