We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of our establishment. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all aspects of the business, including customer service, staff management, and financial performance. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient and effective service delivery
- Manage and supervise staff members, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs
- Maintain high standards of customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock management
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop menus and ensure food quality and presentation meet company standards
- Coordinate catering events and banquet functions
- Utilize POS systems for order processing, cash handling, and reporting purposes
- Implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
Skills:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of food service management principles
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in supervising staff members and conducting performance evaluations
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving issues
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of recent experience in a full-service restaurant. Preferably upscale- casual to fine dining.
- Texas Food Managers Permit (Must obtain by your first day)
- TABC Certification (Must obtain by your first day)
