Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of our establishment. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the business, including staff management, customer service, inventory control, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a passion for the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to all staff members, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Oversee daily operations, including bar preparation, food production, cash handling, and inventory control
- Ensure exceptional customer service by training and coaching staff on service standards
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and increase profitability
- Manage staffing levels and schedules to meet business needs while controlling labor costs
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for all team members and provide feedback for improvement
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the establishment, including kitchen management
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with suppliers to maintain inventory levels and quality control
- Utilize Toast POS system for order processing and reporting
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a leadership role within the Fine Dining or hospitality industry is required
- Strong knowledge of Wine and Liquors and industry trends
- Proven ability to manage a team effectively, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in inventory control and cost management
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen management is preferred
- Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus
