About
The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is responsible for the revenue growth of the TikTok business, and our teams include Sales, Marketing, Ops, Account Managers, Agency and partnerships, as well as Marketing Science.
GBS is a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and ambitious client group, and our HRBPs who support them are too! We are excited to continue adding to our Human Resources team to attract, engage, and retain top talent to drive the continued growth of the organization.
About the team
TikTok's SMB team aims to help businesses and brands of all sizes unleash their creative side, connect with our audience, or perhaps be discovered! From designing scaled sales and service delivery programs to ensuring our customers have best-in-class tools and products at their fingertips, our SMB team combines operational expertise with a customer-centric mindset to help businesses achieve their marketing goals on TikTok, no matter how big or small.
Responsibilities
  • Build a world-class affiliate/partnership program on a global scale, focusing on new advertisers and new revenue growth
  • Identifying new strategic partner opportunities & developing a strategic execution plan
  • Manage versatile partnerships from Enterprise/large companies to individual content creators by creating commission strategy, recruitment strategy and growth strategy
  • Have good understanding of regional, country and partner segmentation nuances
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to expertly communicate our value proposition with partners
  • Partner closely with sales, marketing, and creator teams to identify relevant publishers/brands/partners
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Very experienced in affiliate marketing, channel sales or agency recruitment
  • Experience managing influencer, media agency, and brand partners
  • Excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks, engaging and influencing with cross-functional groups
  • Knowledge of social media, mobile apps, and selling advertising products (self-serve platform, auction, and biddable form of digital advertising buying). SMB experience is a plus.
  • Data-driven, capable of in-depth data interpretation, synthesizing insights through clear, concise communication
  • Solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving and strategy development experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Detail-oriented to find solutions for clients while improving internal processes and delivering feedback
  • Strong executive presence and ability to excel under pressure
  • Passion for TikTok marketing, and up for the challenge of building something from the bottom up
  • Self-starter and motivated to learns
  • Strong oral & written communication skills for internal and external forums
