Hewlett-Packard is Hiring a Remote AMS Product Manager, Certified Refurbished Partner Program (US-Remote)

Sustainable impact is at the heart of HP’s business strategy, and HP Renew Solutions’ focus is to enable HP’s circularity strategy as a differentiator across all our product lines through transactional and as-a-service models, as well as scaling through our channel and distribution partners with the HP Certified Refurbished Partner Program model.

This role requires an in-depth understanding of the ITAD and refurbishment industries and partner management. The AMS Product Manager will assist in the development of innovative solutions focused on helping partners adopt and implement their own sustainability/refurbished product offers based upon HP products inclusive of Personal Systems, Print, and Hybrid Solutions. The AMS Product Manager will work alongside the Head of the Certified Refurbished Partner Program to ensure the successful execution of the program roadmap by collaborating with exclusive partners and internal stakeholders.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure program execution with select Certified Refurbished Partners inclusive of portfolio planning over the entire RPP lifecycle, including conformance to pricing strategies, end-to-end service delivery, partner audit strategy, and sales readiness and associated processes.

  • Represents Renew Solutions on product or solution portfolio core teams and provides service requirements into product development stages/phases, e.g., product warranty strategy and cost analysis, and product marketing content/collateral.

  • Performs business analysis, identifies root cause, and develops recommendations/solutions to drive growth in the Partner Program.

  • Works across regions/geographies to develop and/or implement new/enhanced services, solutions, or programs and associated processes to meet emerging customer/market needs and fuel profitable growth.

  • Contributes insights based on partner data to drive increased sales opportunities, leveraging data-driven strategies for program growth.

  • Utilizes both technical and business skills to navigate and support complex cross-functional initiatives with significant impact on the services business.

  • Provide leadership in the development, and execution of the HP Renew Solutions vision - helping partners expand their second life business and derive measurable carbon/environmental saving through RPP.

  • Provides mentoring and guidance to peers and lower-level employees.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business/Technical is required or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

Knowledge & Skills

  • High knowledge of IT and services industry, specifically managed services, supply chain, ITAD and refurbishment industry background also highly desirable. Depth of knowledge of ITIL methodology a plus

  • Robust product management/marketing fundamentals

  • Excellent leadership capabilities, highly developed problem-solving abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, develop relationships across organizations and accomplish goals under pressure situations. Strong skills in exercising independent judgment

  • Highly developed project/ program management and change management skills. Solid understanding of business planning methods and business acumen

  • Excellent presentation skills. Highly developed negotiation/ influencing skills
