1. DEFINITION :
Responsible for preparing all food items in an efficient fashion according to Fudpucker’s high quality standards. Portions and prepares food items prior to cooking.
Other duties include plating and garnishing cooked items. Responsible for maintaining a sanitary kitchen work area. Also responsible to work as cashier and bartender as necessary.

3. ESSENTIONAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION :
1. Insures that all food items are prepared and presented in accordance with Fudpucker’s recipes, portions, and quality standards.
2. Works harmoniously with all restaurant personnel to insure quick, responsive service to customers including special requests and complaints.
3. Attends to the work station as assigned and prepares, inspects, and portions the items as per specifications.
4. Checks the quality and freshness of food products. Takes measures to avoid food spoilage and control waste.
5. Thoroughly cleans and sanitizes supplies, equipment, assigned work station and surrounding areas prior to the end of each shift.
7. May assist others and perform other appropriate duties and routines as requested by the Kitchen Manager or other management personnel.
4. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION :
1. Must be able communicate clearly and listen attentively to supervisors, employees, and guest instructions.
2. Must be able to stand and exert well paced mobility for long periods of time.
3. Must have the ability to lift pots, pans, etc up to 30 pounds in weight.
4. Must be able to follow directions.
5. Must possess dexterity for using small tools and equipments.
