Tiello is Hiring a Project Manager Near Saint George, UT

Tiello has partnered with a highly successful Commercial General Contractor in the greater St George, UT area on their search for a Project Manager with experience in the Commercial, Educational, Industrial Construction Sectors to work on ground-up and renovation projects ranging in value up to $50 M.

The Project Manager will be the company representative at the project site and oversee the entirety of the project. You will serve as the company's point of contact both with the client and with the construction team. You will engage in and influence the safety culture and have the authority to make decisions on the team's behalf about such items as cost and schedule. The project manager will also take part in selecting and mentoring project staff and ensuring that the entire team works together efficiently to complete the project safely, on time, and on budget.

Job Title: Project Manager (5 years)

Project Types: Commercial, Educational, Industrial, K-12, Tilt-Up, Grocery, Office, Public Works

Key Responsibilities:

  • Able to perform all essential Project Manager job responsibilities
  • Experience and comfort performing Assistant Project Manager’s and Project Engineer’s responsibilities
  • Maintain the project schedule and budget
  • Develop and maintain a good relationship with Owner, Architect, and Contractors
  • Provide the client with value-engineered solutions when applicable
  • Work with estimating, helping establish budgets and contract price
  • Negotiate cost-effective contracts and material purchases
  • Set up and implement job procedures and techniques to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery
  • Work with Superintendent to develop safety plans and to implement safety procedures
  • Manage project deliverables
  • Oversee and mentor the project staff to foster a positive team setting

Skills & Qualification:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related.
  • 5 years managing projects for a reputable General Construction team(s).
  • Commercial, Educational, Industrial Construction experience
