Responsibilities

  • Successfully and professionally manage commercial construction projects from negotiation, bid, and procurement to close out.
  • Support the superintendent and develop accountability.
  • Build morale of all project team members.
  • Manage subcontractors from buy out to punch out.
  • Take ownership of and ensure safety, scheduling and quality control on the job site.
  • Ability to provide technical construction direction to teams.
  • Manage all risk exposures to the projects.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with all project stakeholders to the betterment of the industry and Watts Construction.
  • Actively build and maintain strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, designers, consultants, and the public.
  • Guide and assist the design team as required.
  • Maintain, track, and document project records in Procore.
  • Timely, creative, and accurate project financial management as well as stringent cost control.


Qualifications

  • Professional, self-starting, leader, productive, and energetic.
  • 3 years overseeing commercial construction and managing subcontractors.
  • Experience in administering projects in various construction delivery methods.
  • Record keeping, problem solving, safety, quality control, and scheduling.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Bonus but not required: College educated, extra certifications, leadership and community roles, personal and professional goals.
