Responsibilities
- Successfully and professionally manage commercial construction projects from negotiation, bid, and procurement to close out.
- Support the superintendent and develop accountability.
- Build morale of all project team members.
- Manage subcontractors from buy out to punch out.
- Take ownership of and ensure safety, scheduling and quality control on the job site.
- Ability to provide technical construction direction to teams.
- Manage all risk exposures to the projects.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with all project stakeholders to the betterment of the industry and Watts Construction.
- Actively build and maintain strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, designers, consultants, and the public.
- Guide and assist the design team as required.
- Maintain, track, and document project records in Procore.
- Timely, creative, and accurate project financial management as well as stringent cost control.
Qualifications
- Professional, self-starting, leader, productive, and energetic.
- 3 years overseeing commercial construction and managing subcontractors.
- Experience in administering projects in various construction delivery methods.
- Record keeping, problem solving, safety, quality control, and scheduling.
- Strong time management skills.
- Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Bonus but not required: College educated, extra certifications, leadership and community roles, personal and professional goals.
