Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing inventory levels to ensure efficient operations and minimize costs.
Duties:
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices
- Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies
- Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to optimize inventory flow
- Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory records
- Analyze data to identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Utilize software system for inventory management
- Perform financial analysis related to inventory costs
Skills:
- Proficiency in demand planning, logistics, and supply chain management
- Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and trend analysis
- Experience with inventory management systems
- Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems
