PURPOSE Manages and coordinates activities related to inventory across the Arizona Marketplace. This includes both physical inventory processes and the management of inventory levels, turns, and return on investment by performing the following duties and supporting location Managers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Determines and implements “Best Practices” with location Manager relating to cycle counts and physical inventories, purchasing and receiving procedures, manufacturing practices relating to Bill-of-Materials and WIP, and yard management as it relates to inventory control.Supports location Mangers on auditing processes and reviews of audits, which includes remedial training as needed.Supports locations within BisTrack to create or review SKU’s, review or create UOM’s, stock adjustments, average cost adjustments, review negative stock and month end processes. Train and support team members as needed for their roles. Supports area, market or location projects and other tasks assigned. Supports location Managers to identify and resolve inventory control concerns.Determines and monitors for “at risk” inventory dollars with location Managers. This would include identifying obsolete, dead, damaged, or otherwise non-performing inventory items.Schedules, observes, and reports results for physical inventories with location Managers.
