honeywell2-pilot is Hiring a Sr Engineering Program Manager - AERO Propulsion Control Systems - PART-TIME position Near Phoenix, AZ

Join a team that designs, develops, integrates and tests highly complex, aircraft engine propulsion control systems within Honeywell Aerospace. 

In this role, you will develop Requirements based Engineered (RbE) solutions on a variety of mechanical, electrical and/or application software problem statements in support of turboshaft and turbofan jet engines. 

You will have ownership for propulsion control systems requirements validation and verification (V&V) strategies and influence how the system and equipment will meet customer requirements during all aspects of the development life cycle, from the front end of business case concept through product entry into service (EIS). 

You will work across disciplines within the Honeywell Aerospace business to drive growth and reach critical business milestones.

Your responsibilities and expectations will include:

·Provide program technical leadership and mentoring of a team of systems engineers that are responsible for validating and verifying engine control systems requirements and software logic in a simulated lab environment with hardware in the loop as well as engine and flight test campaigns.

·Work on the development of innovative solutions and define and document processes to execute programs effectively and improving efficiency of the team.

·Lead proposal preparation that required RbE solutions to future business opportunities, value engineering and program/process changes.

·Interface directly with the customers developing proposals and strategies to meet OEM specifications means of compliance.
