THE POSITION

Be part of a senior engineering management team developing and implementing processes and products to sustain Honeywell's growth in the marketplace. You will lead, empower, and motivate engineering teams responsible for the design and development of products and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will strategically plan and lead large teams involved in major programs and critical technical initiatives. You will work effectively across geographical boundaries and act as a change agent. You will analyze the market for competitive intelligence information and develop new growth opportunities.

Lead, develop and motivate a talented engineering team of senior professionals responsible for the development and support of commercial cockpit for Dassault and Boeing platforms. This is a customer facing role that includes design, development, testing and certification for general aviation programs. Responsible for a senior leadership team with a domestic and global footprint. You will leverage your extensive technical experience and skills to guide your team in the investigation and solution of challenging technical problems. You will use your advanced leadership abilities to motivate and energize teams that are designing new or modifying existing processes, tools, and strategies. By collaborating with customers and broader engineering teams, you will balance team workload and drive exceptional team performance with high impact for the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Owns all Dassault aircraft (Future Falcon, F6X, F7X, F8), & Boeing legacy planning, systems development, integration, and test. Includes new product development for display systems
  • Employee development of highly skilled technologists
  • Develop and implement strategy aligned to key business drivers
  • Design, adjust and execute workload planning
  • Ensure strong processes and procedures to prevent issue occurrence
  • Partner with customers and engineering functional teams to enable business growth
  • Customer engagement and problem resolution
  • Requirements flow down and architecture process and procedure adherence
  • Leadership of various support functions that span multiple program teams
  • Talent management
  • Senior leadership interaction & portfolio management
