You are:

A Product Development Engineering Consulting Senior Manager that can help our Industry X Retail Apparel and Consumer Goods clients gain significant market and productivity improvement as digital technology moves into the core of product innovation and engineering development. As a Product Development Engineering Consultant, you are an integral part in aiding our clients transform their products and business while fueling your ambitions withinIndustry X space and beyond. You're also comfortable working closely with Accenture and client teams supporting the sales process from origination to closing.

The Work:

  • Lead a team of Product Development/Engineering Consultants in creating the roadmap for a transforming a portfolio of client products combining business and market understanding, strategic thinking, and organizational leadership with technical expertise.
  • Originate and deliver Engineering Product Development consulting engagements that range from Product Strategy, Product Development, and Digital Engineering Product Creation Advisory to Engineering Product Development/Engineering Services.
  • Deliver PLM transformations and, Digital Thread/Digital Twin projects in Retail Apparel & Consumer Goods Industry
  • Develop and grow the IX Engineering offerings in the Consumer Goods/Retail Industry.

Here's what you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Textiles, Apparel or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If an associate degree, must have minimum 6 years' work experience)
  • At least 10 years of relevant Product Development Engineering experience (Retail Apparel and/or Consumer Goods)
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to simplify complex issues - ability to conduct strategic assessments and build roadmaps, create value cases, define new processes, operating models, and lead teams to implement new (digital) solutions.
  • You have strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze opportunities from many angles (both quantitative and qualitative) and to drive appropriate performance tracking.

Bonus Points if you have:

    • You have experience in PLM transformations for Retail Apparel and Consumer Goods clients and their vendors (Centric, PTC, Dassault, Siemens)
    • Platform design/architecture, engineering practices, and engineering operating model and organization optimization within management consulting
    • You have deep knowledge in Product Development, Engineering & Design, Manufacturing, Quality for the Apparel / Consumer Goods Industry
    • Actively engaged thought leader to drive awareness of our Industry X proposition in Retail Apparel and Consumer Goods.
    • Experience in maturing business models to consolidate efforts to a common platform in pursuit of new product experiences.

    Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Albany County, NY, California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.

    California: $217,000-$259,000

    Colorado: $187,600-$224,000

    New York City: $217,000-$259,000

    New York Albany: $174,000-$207,000

    Washington: $199,800-$238,000
