Our client is seeking a full-time software engineer to join our rapidly evolving software team. Having spent over twenty years developing a best-in-class product and a profitable business, they’re now in the midst of a major transformation in our product and processes, and you will play a key part!
You will be involved in product migration from Microsoft ASP.NET development tools to web development with Blazor. Within the product life cycle, you will engage in new development, installation of software, and correction of logic issues. The position requires analytical, problem-solving skills and occasional interaction with customers. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, and possess a strong work ethic, combined with in-depth knowledge of the technology industry and its related business processes.
Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Microsoft Blazor
• Write clean and well-structured code that is easy to maintain
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers
• Ability to interact with client base on application concerns in production environments
• Performs logic verification, program coding, release testing and support for assigned projects
• Participates in development meetings, including agile scrum, retrospective, and planning
• Utilize Microsoft Azure DevOps for task management and team coordination
• Ability to prepare technical step-by-step documentation of completed projects
• Ability to work on multiple assigned projects
• Drives process improvement
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant combination of training and education
• 4 years’ experience with Microsoft Blazor and Entity Framework
• 4 years’ experience with Microsoft Development tools (.Net 4 , C#, MS SQL 2012/2014/2016, IIS 7/8/8.5/10)
• Experience with Structured Query Languages, including Transact-SQL and SQL Lite
• Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Repos and code management a plus
• Experience with HTML5/CSS/JavaScript and related technologies a plus
• Experience with Construction Industry ERPs (i.e. Oracle JD Edwards, Sage 300, etc.) a plus
• Perform manual testing to ensure software meets stated design requirements
• Uphold existing quality assurance standards and processes
• Identify defects within software against standards
• Exhibit communications and interpersonal skills
• Organized and detail-oriented
