Responsibilities
- Meet the continuous short-term and long-term strategic objectives of the organization.
- Ensure integration of employees from acquisitions into the parent company.
- Develop and maintain consistent policies, forms, processes, and assuring all are used appropriately and timely.
- Monitor and ensure organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
- Provide counsel to management concerning risk mitigation
- Maintain records for all employees, manage enrollment activities annually, advise employees concerning payroll and benefits.
- Compile strategic ways to advance workforce planning (i.e. recruiting, selection, orientation, and exit process).
- Ensure employees are receiving the appropriate training and development to adequately perform their jobs.
- Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, procedures, job duties, working conditions, wages, opportunities for promotions, and employee benefits.
- Possess ideal risk management practices that align with the executive leadership team.
- Present and meet with company shareholders on a regular basis.
- Oversee payroll processing and provide direction as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration, or related field highly preferred
- Hands-on experience leading HR for a rapidly growing organization with both salaried and hourly employees
- Proficient in local, state, and federal compliance regulation
- Ability to communicate professionally across all levels of the organization
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
