Essential Functions:
1. Execute employee onboarding functions for all new hires, including orientation, employee handbook content review, benefits review, E-Verify and background checks. Maintain new hire files.
2. Track, distribute, and file applications.
3. Assist with unemployment compensation claims by submitting reports and documentation.
4. Assist with FMLA case administration, including the regular communication with employees and management.
5. Support the administration of employee benefits (enrollment, claims, terminations, issues) in partnership with providers and PEO – Health & Welfare Benefits and 401(k) retirement plans.
6. Facilitate day-to-day interaction with employees to oversee all areas of the employee lifecycle.
7. Coordinate with the payroll team to guarantee timely and accurate pay for all employees. Communicate with employees on the resolution of any payroll processing concerns.
8. Coordinate with staffing agencies and placement firms to guarantee seamless onboarding, orientation, and training.
9. Assist with the safety team to facilitate a culture of workplace safety through workers compensation administration, light duty programs, and injury tracking. Participate in scheduled safety committee meetings.
Other Essential Functions:
1. Maintain regular and satisfactory full-time attendance.
2. Perform work outside of normal business hours as needed and required.

Education & Experience:
1. A minimum of a Highschool diploma or GED equivalent and 2 years of successful experience preferred

2. Stand or sit for long periods of time
