Overview
Success awaits a hands-on, personable, motivated, and professional Concierge to join our team. Our Concierge is organized, responsible and has a genuine desire to create unique and memorable experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome.
- Promptly answer incoming calls and email correspondence using positive and clear communication.
- Listen to and understand requests, respond to inquiries pertaining to the hotel and local services.
- Provides guests with information about and make reservations for dining, transportation, entertainment, shopping, and other activities.
- Arrange and carry out VIP requests and special events.
- Perform other duties as requested by ownership and management.
- Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.
Skills
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of Colleagues and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised.
- Must be able to prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of office software, PMS, and phone systems
Qualifications
- 2 years of Concierge experience in a hotel
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holiday
- Always maintain a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Minimum travel may be required
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
- Comply with Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information
- Must be proactive in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving issues as necessary.
