Description

The award winning Wilhite Law firm located in historic downtown Denver buildings seeks a hands on and strategic Facilities Manager to oversee the facility, security, and building safety function. Seeking a hands-on go-getter who can perform the work while leading a small facilities team. Must have knowledge of historic buildings, be cost conscious, and willing to mentor staff.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, management of vendors, and upgrades
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the ongoing functionality of facilities, equipment and systems
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and services
- Manage the facility's budget and ensure cost-effective operations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and address any safety or compliance issues
- Collaborate with other departments to support their facility-related needs
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in facility management

Qualifications

Experience:
- Proven experience in facilities management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, low voltage systems, logic controllers, electrical systems, historical buildings, and schematics
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to effectively lead the team and prioritize tasks
