The Water Valley Company is Hiring a Lift Maintenance Manager Near Windsor, CO
- Knowledge of the activities and procedures of Hoedown Hill
- Commitment to providing a safe experience for our guests and team members by adhering to all safety policies and procedures
- Knowledge of and compliance with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards
- Responsible for leading and developing the lift maintenance and lift maintenance teams
- Responsible for all lift maintenance operations, including preventative maintenance; emergency repairs; scheduling of inspections, compliance with regulatory standards, ANSI, and Colorado tramway and requirements
- Responsible for the hiring and supervision of all lift maintenance and lift operators including, ensuring team members are trained in how to perform their tasks safely and effectively, performance management, policy/procedure compliance, and reviewing and approving time and attendance
- Responsible for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on lift equipment
- Develop and implement lift maintenance inspection documentation and annual maintenance inspections/schedules
- Responsible for maintaining proper documentation of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inspection of startup and shut down of logs
- Proactively develop routines and procedures for preventative maintenance, oversee and assist with maintenance work, and ensure maintenance schedules are adhered to and completed promptly
- Oversee and assist with troubleshooting all lift systems when issues arise
- Oversee all lift maintenance parts ordering-maintain parts inventory
- Operate snowmobiles and other company vehicles safely
- Perform snow removal and other snow work around lifts, as needed
- Comply with all LOTO, confined space entry, and fall protection for standard operation procedures
- May assist in other operational departments as needed
- High School diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous lift maintenance experience and proven competency in general mechanics and electrical
- Two or more years of leadership experience
- Knowledge of ANSI B77.1-2022
- Computer proficiency
- Ski/snowboard ability desired
- Valid US driver license
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- The primary physical environment in which this position works is outdoors with a high exposure level to cold, snow, wind, and rain.
- The degree of strenuous activity within the job is high. Often lifting a weight of 25 pounds throughout the day is common.
- Additional strenuous physical activity may include walking or hiking upon uneven, challenging terrain with equipment.
