The VERVE Hotel, Boston-Natick is Hiring a Food & Beverage Director (F&B) Near Natick, MA

JOB SUMMARY:
The Verve Hotel - Boston Natick is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Food & Beverage Director (F&B) to oversee all aspects of our Food and Beverage operations. This is a management position that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As the F&B Director, you will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to maximize revenue, maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, and ensure the overall success of our Food and Beverage department.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
This is a full-time, salaried position with a compensation range of $75,000 to $82,000 per year. The selected candidate will receive biweekly pay, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, paid time off, and room discounts at The Verve Hotel and other affiliated properties.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability in the Food and Beverage department
- Oversee all Food and Beverage operations, including restaurant, bar, banquet, and room service
- Hire, train, and supervise all Food and Beverage staff, ensuring high levels of customer service and guest satisfaction
- Develop and maintain departmental budgets, cost controls, and financial forecasts
- Monitor and analyze sales and revenue reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts to ensure the best quality and pricing for products and services
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Stay updated on industry trends, competition, and market demands and make adjustments to operations as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Food and Beverage management in a hotel or upscale restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of Food and Beverage operations, including budgeting, cost controls, and inventory management
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
