THE TUXEDO CLUB is Hiring a Housekeeper (FT) Near Tuxedo Park, NY

- Dust rooms & furniture as needed.
- Make beds, change linens & vacuum guest rooms.
- Clean bathrooms as trained & restock when necessary.
- Vacuum carpets & mop floors in common areas & dining rooms.
- Empty & reline all waste containers.
- Assist Rooms & Laundry with the following:
- Launder & press all table & guest room linens
- Clean & refresh quest rooms on an "as need" basis as trained
- Cleans clubhouse offices (collects trash, vacuums, dust, etc.)
- Cleans clubhouse dormitory areas:
- Bathrooms
- Staff break room
- Lounge area
- Assist the Head Steward with the following:
- Inventory & storage.
- Ensure ancillary storage facilities are functional.
- Inventory & cleanliness of tables, chairs, glassware, silver, flatware, banquet equipment.
- Par stock levels.
- Perform any & all other related duties assigned by the Front of House management team.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning.
- Knowledge of a second language is a plus.
- Positive attitude & excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work varied shifts which include weekdays, evenings, weekends & holidays.

As a Housekeeper you may be a full time or part time hourly position. It is expected that, at times, you may have to work on evenings, weekends, &/or holidays. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts & toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the environment is moderate.
- May need to work in wet or humid conditions, near moving parts, near fumes or airborne particles, in extreme non-weather heat, & in extreme non-weather cold.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, use hands & fingers, reach with hands & arms, talk &/or hear.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, & depth perception.
- Employees must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs multiple times per day, & push a cart weighing up to 100lbs.
- Expect to be on their feet for up to 6 hours at a time.
- Must practice proper body mechanics & use appropriate personal protective equipment to avoid injury.
