Job Summary:Specifically assigned to clean all bedrooms, bathrooms, sitting rooms, foyers, floors and walls, offices, and any area that would be assigned by the maintenance supervisor or director. One Weekend Shift Required.

Reports To:Director of Maintenance / HouseKeeping

Duties:

Duties are including but not excluding any direction that administration may feel is needed for the safety and comfort of the residents.

1. Weekly housekeeping of resident’s rooms. This includes:

·Changing of linens

·Vacuuming carpets.

·Dusting and cleaning of furniture, window sills and windows.

·Cleaning kitchenette.

·Cleaning refrigerator and microwave and discarding rotten food

·Cleaning of walls, baseboards, and doors

·Empty trash

·General vacuuming, dusting, cleaning mirrors and windows, cleaning toilets, sinks, tubs, showers, floors

·General cleaning and sanitizing

·General repair and replacing of light bulbs, broken fixtures, toilet and towelholders

·Cleaning of walls, baseboards, and doors

·May require lifting or bending. Must be able to lift 25-35 pounds

1. Daily cleaning of resident lounge
2. Daily disposal of garbage in offices and public areas
3. Daily cleaning of public bathrooms
4. Daily cleaning of common areas
5. Weekly cleaning of offices, beauty salon, family dinning room
6. Use prescribed infection control procedures
7. Report any unsafe, unsanitary and /or unusual conditions
8. Maintain maintenance storage rooms in appropriate fashion’
9. Maintain maintenance supplies in appropriate areas
10. Maintain and handle equipment in an appropriate manner
11. Meet customer service standards in a friendly, helpful, courteous manner with resident satisfaction a priority.
12. Other duties may be required to assist the residents and the community.
