Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 / year (Competitive salary commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities: 
  • Manage a portfolio of properties, including single-family homes, multi-family units, and commercial spaces. 
  • Oversee the leasing process, including advertising properties, showing units, screening tenants, and executing leases. 
  • Handle tenant requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner. 
  • Maintain accurate digital and written records of all property-related transactions and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws. 
  • Prepare, submit, and execute approved renewal paperwork. 
  • Develop and implement property management policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations. Maintain training materials for your typical tasks. 
  • Attend to emergency situations and resolve them promptly. 
Be a Part of a Team:
  • Work with the Collections / Delinquencies Department and Accounting Department to ensure tenants are up to date on their accounts. 
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance Coordinator, Turn Manager, vendors, and contractors to ensure that properties are well-maintained and repairs are completed in a timely manner. 
  • Coordinate with the Property Inspector to ensure regular property inspections are completed to identify any maintenance or safety issues, tenant issues, or other property or safety concerns. 
  • Coordinate with the Rentals Transaction Coordinator to ensure that all upcoming vacancies are posted for rent in a timely manner and at the correct rental rate with accurate information. 
Qualifications: 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management. 
  • Strong knowledge of property management principles, practices, and legal requirements. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software. 
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. 
  • High school diploma/GED preferred 
Preferred experience: 
  • Experience in property management AND customer service or project management 
  • Experience with AppFolio
