The Stow Company is currently seeking qualified candidates for a **Customer Service Representative** for our Easy Closets team located in Holland, MI. We are the countrys premier source for custom closets and organizational solutions; designed, custom-cut, and shipped to our clients from our world class manufacturing facility in Holland, MI.

**Primary Purpose of Position**

Responsible for ensuring complete customer satisfaction by assisting customers as needed after the sale is processed while providing extraordinary customer service.

**Essential Functions and Responsibilities**

* Answer customer questions related to shipping time in transit, parts, designs and installation and other miscellaneous subjects

* Frequent customer interaction over the phone and e-mail

* Prompt Message Board and Call Board Response

* Process Customer Service orders and Parts Orders

* Guide customers through difficult installations

* Resolve customer concerns and complaints

* Compile daily, weekly and monthly reports

* Escalate difficult customer inquiries to Customer Service Manager when appropriate

* Maintain advanced knowledge of the product line while conveying irregularities or issues to upper management when necessary

* Communicate and interact with customers in a pleasant, positive and professional manner

* Lives Company values on a daily basis.

* Requires regular attendance to perform essential elements as contained herein between the assigned start and end times for work.

* Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the Corporation and the community; and maintains the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities

The Stow Company may temporarily assign any team member with duties outside of their normal responsibilities. Such assignments may be warranted due to a variety of specific requirements, conditions and/or the capabilities of available personnel. Management will determine the nature and duration of those assignments.

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education & Experience**

* 1-3 years experience in customer service or similar roles

**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities**

* Understanding of spatial relationships, math, fractions and decimals

* Strong written, clear verbal and professional negotiating skills

* A positive, upbeat attitude and a friendly demeanor

* The ability to analyze and solve problems

* Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

* Intermediate level computer expertise with basic knowledge of MS Office applications

* Must have excellent time management/organizational skills; adherence to deadlines

* Interpersonal skills in order to work effectively with individuals both internally and externally to The Stow Company

* Must have excellent customer service skills; including strong written and verbal communication skills

* Must have the ability to interface with all levels of personnel in an office and a manufacturing environment

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT**

* Sitting at workstation approximately 80 percent of work time

* Standing and walking approximately 20 percent of work time

* Must be able to travel between plant and office locations

* Must be available to work Monday-Friday (8:00am -5:00 pm)

* Flexibility to work overtime or adjust schedule as needed

* Typical office environment with shelves overhead and above work surfaces

* Manufacturing environment with multiple machinery and moving parts
