ASSISTANT RESTAURANT GENERAL MANAGER

The Stand Restaurants is a fast-casual dining restaurant with 15 locations across Orange County, Los Angeles, and Houston Texas. We are growing fast, with plans to open 3-4 new locations per year. We’re Looking for Assistant Managers that have the following:

• Outgoing personalities and friendly attitudes
• Passionate about food
• Ability to work well with others and lead a team
• An overwhelming desire to go above and beyond to provide a great guest experience 
• One or more years of Management experience

Assistant Managers Responsibilities

• Lead by example with a high sense of urgency
• Ensure a clean and organized restaurant by supporting respective team members and their duties
• Ability to multi-task while having a good time
• Foster a friendly family environment
• Be a team player and show efficient communication kills
• Oversee multiple kitchen stations, including salads, fry, grill, and expo
• Easy daily paperwork (we care more about actual restaurant operations)

Essential Functions

• Exemplifying our mission and culture
• Preparing food items as needed in a sanitary and timely manner
• Following recipes and presentation specifications
• Operating standard FOH and BOH equipment safely and efficiently
• Cleaning and maintaining a station by practicing good safety and sanitation procedures and protocols as needed

Working Conditions

• Frequent walking and standing for long periods of time
• Ability to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly
• Repetitive bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
• Repetitive use of hands, including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
• Occasionally access high storage shelving with the use of a step ladder
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals
• Exposure to varying temperatures, including steam, high kitchen temperatures, humidity, freezers, refrigerators, indoor air conditioning and outdoor/patio conditions

Schedule

• Full-time
• Five days a week, including weekends and holidays, approximately 40-45 hours per week

Compensation

• Competitive compensation $25 - $26 x hr ( Includes Tips Bonus)
• Participation in The Stand tip pool, with average tips of approximately $3 - $4 per hour
