Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure all employees are fully conversant with menus and are able to explain to guests in detail each menu item in detail if required.

• Ensure all employees are able to make recommendations to guests for menu and beverage selection.

• Recruit and train employees in accordance with hotel guidelines.

• Ensure all employees are well groomed and in the correct uniform.

• Effectively manage employees ensuring that the operation of In Room Dining meets hotel operating standards.

• Regularly review the performance of employees in accordance with hotel guidelines.

• Review room service sales versus forecast and report on any variances.

• Remain up to date with local and international restaurant trends.

• Work closely with other departments ensuring communication flows effectively.

• In addition, other duties may be required as directed by your Director.

The hotel is not able to assist candidates in obtaining work authorization documents. This position does not offer a relocation package.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Three (3) years experience in a Food & Beverage position in a luxury hotel environment; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of international cuisine and dining trends.
