The Front Desk Agent should always be professional, personable and courteous at all times when dealing with clients and guests. The Front Desk Agent must always be prepared and aware of their surroundings by taking notice and using the appropriate judgment so that you are properly prepared to handle all situations/matters.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Check billing instructions and guest credit for compliance with hotel credit card policy, and ensure all transactions are handled in a secure and correct manner.
• Check In/out Guest.
• Be aware of safety and security issues and protocol as it pertains to guest and co-workers.
• Respond to emergency/crisis situations calmly and effectively, according to hotel guidelines.
• Respond to our guest questions, complaints, comments, and request in a courteous and professional manner by taking appropriate action, follow up, and provide feedback to Supervisors
• Communicate situations where guests are dissatisfied or experience problems to supervisors/managers.
• May serve as manager on duty.
• Record all guest request items and deficiencies into appropriate tracking system
• Dispatch request to appropriate departments
• Must possess a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our guest.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Requires outstanding communication skills
• Must possess basic computer and office software knowledge
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Ability to work positively in fast-paced environment.
• Must be reliable and dependable
• Upsell rooms when possible
• Work well with others and all departments
• Punctual: Be on time for all shifts
• Must have the ability to multi-task, be detailed orientated, and be able to problem solve in order to effectively deal with internal and external customers
