Part-Time Bookkeeper for Thriving Mental Health Clinic

Resource Group, celebrating the completion of forty years of service to the community this year, is a growing mental health clinic dedicated to providing compassionate care, is seeking a part-time, highly organized Bookkeeper to join our team.
Responsibilities:
· Pay all payroll liabilities to the appropriate entities on-time:
o Federal Withholding
o Federal Unemployment
o Maryland Withholding
o Simple IRA
o Wage garnishments
o Employee health insurance
o Preparing paystubs and pay vouchers.
· Completion of bi-monthly staff and affiliate payroll which includes completing and sending direct deposit.
· Prepare Quarterly 941 filing, Quarterly MD Unemployment filing and annual 940 filing and send to CEO for review and signature.
· Coordination of Annual Financial Review and Annual Tax return with accountants (collecting and organizing annual tax return documents and sending to the accountants).
· QuickBooks bookkeeping /Data entry of all financial transactions.
· Pay company bills/invoices by their due date.
· Conduct pre-scheduled consultation meetings with the Billing department, maximum of once per week.
· Process accounts payable and aggregate receivables in conjunction with a billing department that handles all medical claim billing and collections in a timely and accurate manner.
· Attending pre-scheduled meetings with the CEO related to Finance, or to consult on other matters as seen appropriate.
· Monthly reconciliations within seven business days of the receipt of credit card and bank statements
· Entry of new employee information and updates to existing employee information as received.
· Financial data tracking and reports: Weekly billable services spreadsheet sent within two business days after completion of all billing for the previous week. Generate accurate financial reports, including income statements each month and balance sheets.
· Daily totals spreadsheet -Trend analysis spreadsheet, sent within two business days after completion of monthly reconciliation.
· Profit and Loss statements for RG programs, sent within two business days after completion of monthly reconciliation)
· Maintain a clean and organized chart of accounts.
· Stay up to date on relevant regulations.
