Job Details Job Location Camino 59 Jackson Street - Lawrence, MA Position Type Full Time Salary Range $56,000.00 - $61,000.00 Salary Job Shift Day Job Category Nonprofit - Social Services Description Job Title: Program Manager Congregate Sites Level: Managerial Reports To: Director of Programs Job Location: Lawrence/Boston, MA Position Type: Full-Time; Salary Exempt Education Level: Bachelors Preferred Salary Range: $56,000 - $61,000 Summary: The Program Manager Manages and oversees Congregate and Scattered Sites Lead Supervisor's and Direct Care Staff in conjunction with Directors. Manages all special projects and oversees progress. Responsibilities:
Manages the day-to-day operations of the shelter direct staff insuring adequately staffed at all times. Maintains records and assures client confidentiality
Assures the integrity of the facility and ensures standards for safety and sanitation are maintained. Makes certain that all local, state and federal codes are observed and that all operations comply with the applicable laws and donor requirements with guidance from Assistant Director
Participate in interviewing process for new direct care staff
Supervises shelter direct care staff, facilitates new hire trainings and monitor progress.
Evaluates performance with guidance from the Assistant Director and Director of Programs
Keeper of the Records (Meeting Minutes)
Oversees the volunteer program and supervises activities of interns in conjunction with Assistant Director/Director
Prepares a variety of regular and special reports for the Director and Assistant Director of Programs.
Oversees ADA Tracking, Noncompliance Process, and Tracking Serious Incident Reports
Adheres to all agency and program policies, procedures and rules
Performs all other reasonable related duties as assigned by the Director of Programs and/or Executive Director
Qualifications Requirements:
Experience: Three years of experience and education or equivalent experience in human services
Education: Bachelor's Degree /Master's Degree, with major in Human Service or related field preferred
Administrative and supervisory experience
Excellent communication skills- written and oral; creative; able to work independently and in team; ability to handle crisis and public relations
Must be able to occasionally ascend/descend stairs up to three or more sets, frequently move equipment weighing up to 25 lbs., must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
