Job Position: Program Coordinator
Reports to: Program Director
Status: Part-time (up to 26 hours per week)

Our mission is to empower low-income women to live their best lives by utilizing personal development coaching and individualized wardrobe styling to build self-esteem and self-worth. Clients are referred to Uncommon Threads by partnering social services organizations in the community. We serve women of all ages (18 ) and circumstances, including domestic violence survivors, disabled, female veterans, homeless, women in recovery, LGBTQ, immigrants, refugees, unemployed/underemployed, and job seekers. Position Description
We are seeking a Program Coordinator to oversee program operations, strengthen and expand programming, provide client support, and act as a liaison to referring agencies. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish, be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced setting, organized, flexible, compassionate, responsible, professional, energetic, and a team player. DUTIES INCLUDE (but not limited to):
· Coordinate daily operations relating to client services, including in-person wardrobe styling sessions, Threads to go (remote styling), winter Bundle Up program, emergency clothing services, and self-esteem focused workshops
· Coordinate seasonal and quarterly client programs and events
· Schedule client sessions
· Plan and maintain volunteer stylist schedule and fill in as needed
· Supervise, train and support stylists and Threads to Go volunteers
· Provide English/Spanish interpretation for staff, volunteers, and clients as needed
· Provide assistance to existing referring agencies and actively recruit new community partners
· Develop and execute a bilingual (Spanish/English) communications plan to provide program updates, including newsletters to both clients and partners
· Share resources and information with clients and community partners
· Attend social services networking meetings and events to market Uncommon Threads services and learn about other programs in the area
· Lead the Women’s Empowerment Committee to develop and implement a programming plan for clients
· Utilize database to capture and enter client data and create reports for grant applications and additional opportunities
· Assist at Uncommon Threads events as needed
Requirements
Qualifications:
· Minimum of an associate degree (human services or similar field of study) or equivalent work experience
· Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) is required
· Ability to fluently speak and interpret Spanish/English in both written and verbal formats is required
· Knowledge of fashion principles and trends, and techniques for dressing women in the most flattering way
· Demonstrated experience in public speaking
· Excellent computer skills including Google Drive, Microsoft Office, as well as basic database knowledge
· Social media expertise is helpful, but not required
· Retail or marketing experience is desirable
· Knowledge of the Greater Lawrence social service network and cultural needs of clientele is highly desirable
· Supervisory experience preferred
SALARY AND BENEFITS
A set weekday schedule with up to 26 hours/week with occasional evening and Saturday hours. This is a non-benefited position with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour.
