Position Responsibilities :
Assist Financial Resources Program Manager with daily tasks required in the Money Management and Representative Payee functions of the Financial Resources Program. This employee will be formally trained as a Money Manager to work directly with clients as needed. This employee will assist the program in meeting audit standards and State reporting requirements. Daily tasks for this employee will include interaction with clients and volunteers via phone and in person, assistance with filing, data entry/tracking as well as file maintenance and review. This employee will also be trained as a backup for Program Administrator to review Rep Payee bills and enter checks as needed.
Essential Functions : (Core duties or tasks that are fundamental and not marginal to the performance of the job)
These functions will apply for both the Lawrence and Danvers locations and Specialist will provide services for both locations:
  • Maintain documentation for Money Management clients and volunteers in accordance with State and agency regulations.
  • Conduct field visits to work directly with Money Management clients on a monthly basis assisting in such tasks as writing out checks, balancing checkbooks, and preparing budgets.
  • Train new and existing volunteers as needed.
  • Conduct annual customer service satisfaction audits of Money Management clients.
  • Complete monitoring of client files in accordance with State and agency regulations.
  • Prepare reports in accordance with State regulations as needed.
  • Learn the functions of Rep Payee bill payment process and provide backup for that function.
  • Complete other duties as assigned within the Financial Resources Program.
Qualifications :
Bachelors' Degree in a related field or Associate Degree in a related field with a minimum of three years of work experience required. Understanding of basic banking transactions and computer skills are required including a familiarity with Word and Excel and an ability to learn new systems. Excellent interpersonal skills and compassion for older people are both required.
Hours: 37.5 per week
