The Office Administrator is responsible for providing support for school wide events, assisting in communication with families, and providing guidance and support to teachers in terms of family engagement.
Duties· Provide support for the overall management and operations of the school while ensuring compliance with local and state regulations.
· Assist in the opening and closing procedures of the school.
· In the absence of the management team, the Office Administrator is responsible in the overall management of the school.
· Collaborate with the management team to maintain the day-to-day operations of the school.
· Responsible for maintaining inventory of supplies throughout the school primarily with art materials.
· Ensure that current and new student files and records are up to date in compliance with state regulations.
· Assist with office administration to ensure organization effectiveness including, but not limited to, communication, equipment maintenance, IT support, vendor relations and office supplies.
· Adhere to all organizational procedures and policies.
· Ability and willingness to perform any and all jobs in the program.
· Manage time to support multiple classrooms and teachers.
· First to answer walkie calls when other teachers are not free to do so.
· First to go into classrooms when there is a need
· Will prepare curriculum in advance for teachers
· Make sure the art gallery is updated monthly
· Assist in calling families that submit a request to be on the wait list
· Communicate with Yummy Goodness with monthly numbers and any area of concern.
· Health and Safety Coordinator
o Complete monthly updates to allergy list
o Review of all medication
o Check for First Aid supplies monthly
o Compliance with all licensing standards
o Exposure notifications for families
o Filing incident reports
· Be present and upfront when other members of management cannot be up front.
· Be the first person to enter a classroom when needed.
· Pass out lunches to classrooms
· Put away weekly deliveries (sheets and supplies)
· Ordering curriculum, classroom, and office supplies
· Printing weekly attendance and Face to Name sheets
