Construction company in Tuscaloosa looking for experienced Assistant Project Manager.
Qualifications
In order to succeed in this position, the candidate must be organized and have excellent time management skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
1 – 2 years of relevant experience
Strong organizational skills
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for serving in a support role as it relates to project direction, planning, completion, and the financial outcome for multi-family construction projects
Manage all project documentation
Prepare project schedule and manage deadlines
Assist with estimation and bidding process
Effectively communicate project progress to key stakeholders, both verbally and with written communication
Support Project Team (Project Manager, Superintendent, Documents Control, etc.)
Takes ownership of various functions from beginning to end, such as submittal & shop drawings, material tracking logs, RFI’s, etc
Able to effectively work with project software such as Procore
