SENECA RESOURCES is Hiring a Digital Project Manager Near Tuscaloosa, AL

Under general supervision, operates at a specialist level within Supply Chain (SC). They provide support for project delivery within scope, ensuring timely, budget friendly, and high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight for projects, remove roadblocks, and assist teams in decision making.
  • Lead Digitalization projects, support Strategy efforts, and guide cross-functional

teams.

  • Establish clear project guardrails (e.g., scope, cybersecurity, stability).
  • Assist teams in prioritizing based on organizational value.
  • Support resource acquisition (funding, personnel) for teams.
  • Provide technical support to Digitalization Leads, addressing questions, methods,

and roadblocks.

  • Ensure thorough documentation of ideas and projects for transparent reporting.
  • Serve as a scrum master for multiple teams.
  • Incorporate Agile & Lean principles into team practices and deliverables.
  • Support the team in defining the "Definition of Done" (DoD) and adhering to Scrum

principles.

  • Coach teams in self-organization, cross-functionality, and Agile/Scrum frameworks.
  • Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospective meetings to

meet stakeholder expectations.

Understanding Users:

  • Develop empathy and understanding around user needs for the product team.
  • Incorporate complex technical and business requirements into interaction concepts.
  • Create detailed test plans covering all relevant use cases, edge cases, and negative

scenarios.

  • Conduct research using various methodologies (ethnography, surveys, interviews,

usability testing).

Concept & Design:

  • Develop design concepts and communicate visual choices to stakeholders.
  • Create conceptual diagrams, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes.
  • Influence the company's strategy through product/design recommendations.

Design Thinking:

  • Plan and execute strategic design activities.
  • Support development teams and management in design processes.
  • Manage multiple parallel projects, workshops, and trainings.
  • Develop and implement design-oriented development methods.

Project Management:

  • Plan, execute, and finalize projects within deadlines and budget.
  • Coordinate team efforts and third-party contractors/consultants.
  • Define project objectives, oversee quality control, and manage dependencies.
  • Develop project plans, delegate tasks, and resolve issues within the team.
  • Monitor project scope changes, risks, and crises, devising contingency plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Supply

Chain/Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience (Entry Level).
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile methods, project management, stakeholder

management, and DevOps.

  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, organizational, time management, interpersonal,

and communication skills.

  • Experience with innovative methods like Design Thinking is beneficial.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of data discovery, data preparation, and analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools like Business Objects, QlikView, Power

BI, Tableau, etc.
