GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are currently seeking a hardworking Project Accountant to complete client projects that may include the setup, restructure, and clean up of their accounting systems, and/or training them on QuickBooks Online. This full time position will be both remote and in-person with flexible hours. It offers a great opportunity for growth while being part of a fun and supportive team. Join us!
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up new client accounts in QuickBooks Online.
Manage QB Desktop to Online data migrations.
Clean up new client financial data.
Create client budget and cash flow reports.
Determine software needs and integrations for clients.
Train clients on the use of QBO and create training documents.
Provide backup support for monthly and quarterly clients.
Provide consultant-based training and troubleshooting to clients.
Manages Project Associate
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB:Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience:
2 years of experience
Certifications:
Must be QuickBooks ProAdvisor certified or become certified within 2 weeks of employment.
Other:
Microsoft Office
Google Workspace (a plus)
Asana (a plus)
QuickBooks
Must have a reliable internet connection
KEY SKILLS:
In-depth knowledge of QuickBooks Online.
Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Excellent time management skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Analytical skills.
Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Ability to work independently.
Strong multitasking skills in order to complete different projects at the same time.
